đŸĻ˜ Skip Counting

Find the missing number in counting patterns like 5, 10, 15, ?, 25.

About Skip Counting

Each question shows a row of numbers that count up (or down) by the same amount, with one number missing. Early levels count in 2s, 5s and 10s from zero; later levels count in 3s, 4s and 6s to 9s, start from numbers that aren't multiples, mix in bigger jumps like 11s, 12s and 25s, and sometimes count backwards.

How to Play

  • Look at the numbers either side of the gap to see how much they go up (or down) each time.
  • Tap the number that fills the gap.
  • Answer all 10 questions to finish the level — a wrong answer costs one of your 3 hearts.
  • Use a hint (costs coins) to remove two wrong answers.

Tips

  • Find the jump first: subtract any number from the one after it.
  • Counting in 5s always ends in 0 or 5; counting in 10s keeps the last digit the same.
  • For backward patterns, take the jump away instead of adding it.
  • Skip counting is the same as the times tables — 3, 6, 9, 12 are 3 × 1, 3 × 2, 3 × 3 and 3 × 4.
