About Fox Jump

Fox Jump is a side-scrolling run-and-jump adventure with a little orange fox in a blue scarf. Every level is a new path through one of five lands — a sunny meadow, a desert with cacti, a snowy forest, a pink candy land and a moonlit night — each with its own music. Jump over gaps and spikes, bounce on slimes, hopping frogs, crabs and bees, and watch out for eagles that swoop down from the sky. Hit the star crates from below to find coins, acorns you can throw, a rainbow star that makes the fox unbeatable for a few seconds, and extra hearts.

Levels get longer and busier as you go, with wider gaps and more enemies. Each level is checked by a computer player before it is used, so every one can be finished.

How to Play

• On a phone, hold ◀ or ▶ to walk; keep holding and the fox slowly speeds up. Tap ▲ to jump — hold it to jump higher.
• On a computer, use the arrow keys (or A and D) to move and Space to jump. X throws an acorn once you have found one.
• Land on slimes, frogs, crabs, bees and eagles to defeat them, or jump over them. Never land on the spiky purple ones.
• You have three hearts. Falling into water puts the fox back on the last safe ground and costs one heart.
• Reach the GOAL gate at the end to finish the level.

Tips

• Wide gaps need a run-up: keep holding the arrow so the fox reaches full speed before you jump.
• An eagle shows its shadow on the ground before it dives — wait for it to pass, or jump on it.
• Hit every star crate: the acorn power lets you clear enemies from a distance.
• Springs throw the fox up to high platforms full of coins and fruit.
